The opportunity

Across Groupon, Indeed, and Tilly Therapy, I worked on different versions of the same product challenge: turning complex user and business needs into digital experiences that could be built, launched, measured, and improved.

The environments ranged from consumer search and marketplace recommendations to privacy-sensitive healthcare operations.

My role

I served as a product manager working with engineering, design, data science, machine-learning, marketing, sales, operations, and customer-facing teams. I owned product requirements, prioritization, cross-functional decision-making, launch planning, and outcome measurement.

What I worked on

At Groupon, I led search, ranking, and relevance work involving NLP query matching, autocomplete, map-based discovery, and personalized ranking. These launches increased conversion by 18% and gross profit by 9%.

At Indeed, I worked on employer recommendation and candidate-outreach experiences. Product improvements increased candidate outreach by 12% and job applications by 7%, while monetization work increased conversion by 5% and revenue by 2%.

At Tilly Therapy, I led scheduling, data-collection, insurance, and care-delivery workflows for a platform supporting more than 200 clients, 50+ providers, and multi-state operations.

What I learned

Product practices transfer across industries, even when the users, technology, and constraints change. The consistent work is understanding the problem, defining the decision, aligning the team, making deliberate tradeoffs, and measuring whether the product created meaningful value.
